Message-ID: <27083@cup.portal.com> Date: 19 Feb 90 03:04:47 GMT Organization: The Portal System (TM) Lines: 12 Is there a way to password-protect a hard disk that has SpeedStor partitions? I have a C: and a D: drive on one physical drive partitioned by SpeedStor. Not only will most password protection programs not install on C: because of the modifications that SpeedStor has made to the drive, but even if they did install on C: someone could just boot off a floppy with the SpeedStor device driver and they would have access to both C: and D:. Can anyone think of a way to password-protect a SpeedStor drive? I have written Storage Dimensions about this, but no one ever wrote back. Thanks, Will (sun!portal!cup.portal.com!Will)
