Message-ID: <5010@wehi.dn.mu.oz> Date: 16 Feb 90 10:48:17 GMT Organization: Walter & Eliza Hall Institute Lines: 23 Hi Net, I deplore Jason Haines' ineloquence in posting but am interested in enquiring about the nature of so called 'Crippleware' My understanding is that this is a form of shareware with features unactivated until the user pays. Isn't this a form of commercialism on the Net. I get the feeling that a lot of the recent (last 3 months) postings to c.m.b have been of this format. What's wrong with Freeware/Happiware/Beerware? Surely that is the style of posting that should be coming out of c.m.b Just my opinions... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon Eaves "17 days !!
