I just wanted to announce that the latest version of TappyType (v1.3) is now available via anonymous ftp to sumex-aim.stanford.edu, or by e-mailing a request to me at cak3g@virginia.edu. It may also appear mysteriously, as it does sometimes, on the comp.binaries.mac newsgroup. Changes include: - fixed bugs in the display-refresh code - added option to turn off the startup icon - made internal improvements to better meet compatibility guidelines Unfortunately, the Suitcase II incompatibility still exists, although the same work-around -- namely renaming the TappyType file -- will still work. I now address this issue in the documentation. As before, I invite comments, bug reports, and suggestions for improvement. ______________________________________________________________________ "May the forces of evil become confused on the way to your house." -- George Carlin Sincerely, | DISCLAIMER: Colin Klipsch | Every word in this text is University of Virginia | actually a horrendous misspelling (cak3g@virginia.edu) | of the word "fettuccini".
