I don't know about it, but I have to report my satisfaction with the Zoom Modem and HWH Microsystems (I don't believe it, a mac dealer I like enough to plug and he's not even related :-). The modem is $119, comes with all the cables ready so you can just plug it into your mac, and has a seven!?!?!?! year warrantee. I guess they don't expect it to break, although it will become obsolete. I checked a bit on Zoom, they aren't newcomers. The guy at HWH is quite knowledgable and friendly without trying to sell you something, he spent 20 minutes giving me advice about buying a mac XL. Oh, and the modem comes with software and bulletin board subscription demos. HWH microsystems (800)673-0586
