Could someone please tell me how much a genuine Applecare contract for
a good old Mac Plus is supposed to cost?


A year and a half ago the going Applecare price in Ann Arbor, Michigan,
through a authorized Apple Dealer was something on the order $180/year.

Just yesterday a sleazy sales person tried to sell me on his store's
contract CFCARE, allegedly cheaper than Applecare at $239/year.
When it was clear I wasn't going to get an Applecare price even if
I did a "read my lips, I want pricing for an Applecare contract" I
walked out.

So, if people could follow-up here or send me some mail, I would be
curious to know what others have paid.
