It doesn't say how this is derived, and this isn't as fast as I expected. Does anyone know where I could find a table comparing the two machines running the various "standard" tests (fibonacci, etc) _IIci video: Several people have told me that the IIci is qualitatively slowed down by the use of the built in video card. Does anyone have a more quantitative result to back this - in particular, how much is speed degraded by using internal video to drive the Apple 13" monitor in 1/8 bit modes? 2) Compatibility. Is there any problem in this area? I assume that all new software will run on the IIci/cx? How about older stuff - what percentage of software written for the plus will run? This isn't an overriding issue, but I am sort of curious about how much of my older software (games, etc) I will have to junk... -- ***************************************************************************** * David Resnick dresnick@athena.mit.edu * * "Smoking-Think of it as evolution in action" * *****************************************************************************
