I am writing a column for NCR MONTHLY devoted to the problems encountered trying to interconnect NCR Tower's with NCR I boxes, primarily ITX, but IRX and IMOS would probably also apply. I would appreciate hearing from NCR users who have any experience, good OR bad, with this process. So far, I have managed to interconnect my NCR 9300 and 9400IP with my Tower 450 as terminal devices (e.g., using cu), but I am also interested in experiences with other protocols, especially using TAM. This column is scheduled to appear in the April, 1990, issue of NCR MONTHLY. You may e-mail me directly with your experiences, although you may also want to place it in the newsgroup. If telephone contact would be useful, you may send me your phone number. Mine is (402) 423-1490. Hopefully, the network address supplied is sufficient, as I am still trying to make sure my map entry is correct. Thanks.
