The NeXT Mail application contains the key to my user interface: integration of text and graphics in a view in which clicking on an icon sends a message to another application, and dragging in an icon from the browser sends a message to Mail to insert that icon into the text as an attachment. (At least, that's what it seems to do.) I would like to use these icons as objects which may be used in one sense to generate the display and in another sense to collapse as text so that they may be parsed. The ability to also display text or use pop-up menus on top of an icon is another desire. Is there anyone who has code which can do this? (Or will NeXT hand out code for their MailView object?) /-------------------------------------\ | John M.
