Message-ID: <5082.25dbe8b3@mva.cs.liv.ac.uk> Date: 16 Feb 90 11:49:07 GMT Organization: Computer Science CSMVAX, Liverpool University Lines: 29 Hi NetLand, I've been "volunteered" to give a course here at the University Of Liverpool on Unix Standards and OSF/Unix International as well as the evolution of Unix. However, I know nothing about this apart from what I read in the trade magazines/comics. Can anybody suggest any literature, references or anything else which can help me? I'm particularily interested in info about: * evolution of OSF & Unix International - why? * BSD & system V - why two?? How did ucb come up with BSD? * what is the current status of OSF/UI? * Who's in OSF/UI? * Any other info..... Mail replies would be appreciated, but anything is welcome. advTHANXance, Ian --- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ian Angles, Systems Programmer, Mac Hack, Guitarist.
