I was compiling a program in one NCSA_Telnet session, and quickly
switching over to a different session to run the program.  I found that
unless I ran sync the results were not immediately available.  I would
up running the version previous to the latest compile. 

Is this normal?  I am using a Sun 3/260 running SunOS 4.0.3  -David-
