The netmask 255.255.0.0 is approriate only for a class B network. For a class C network, the most common type, use 255.255.255.0. Before connecting any additional hosts to the internet via your ethernet you must have authority over an internet domain, or permission from your local authority. You should also update your hostname, `arpa' is obsolete. (See RFC-1032, RFC-920, etc., available by anonymous ftp from nic.ddn.mil.) Joe Konczal
