Gee, my applications will be very surprised to hear this.  They still think
that clicking on the space above or below the elevator moves the text forward
or backward exactly one page, where a page is however many lines of text the
box currently holds.  I'd better not tell them.  Wouldn't want them to
suddenly stop working.
