Sorry to barge in on Bruce Cohen's inquiry, but I am at my wit's end 
with xtroff. Any  info would be appreciated.

Has ANYONE gotten xtroff to work on XView/Openlook windowing systems?
If so, what special considerations had to be made for font translation,
etc.?

I am able to get it compiled, with "-DFONTIR=$OPENWINHOME/lib/fonts"  
set in the Makefile, but when ran, I get the msg

          X Error:  BadName, named color or font does not exist

Along with the window iD, etc...

I have tried converting the *.fb fonts to .snf format and 
making "FONTDIR" point to these, but the same thing occurs.   

Any help is appreciated.
