I am running X11R4 on a Sun 4/150 running 4.0.3 of the SunOS. Running xdm with the -debug 2 option indicates that the /usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xresources file is not being read. There are no error messages, but the values for some of the resources listed in the debug output do not correspond to those listed in the Xresources file. I have checked that the xdm-config file is being read and does point to the right Xresource file (/usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xresources). So I have 2 questions: 1) If Xresources the right place to define the authorization resources (DisplayManager*authorize, et.al.) ? 2) How do I go about trouble shooting the problem with the Xresources file not being read? I eve nstripped it down to 1 line that should work but no luck. I am using NCD X terminals as well. Thanks.
