View, CA Lines: 16 We were thinking of using Mac X to turn our Mac's into X-terminals. We would be running the clients on Suns. The Sun ethernet LAN is hooked up to the AppleTalk LAN via a Kinetics Fastpath box. Does this sound like a workable way to make our Macs be display servers for clients running on Suns? Would the AppleTalk LAN bandwidth be adequate for X protcol traffic and for Mac X to run Ok? One of the applications we'd like to run this way is Frame. Any comments/suggestions on this scheme would be greatly appreciated! -- Adrian Brandt (415) 940-2379 UUCP: {amdahl|ames|hplabs}!ntmtv!adrian ARPA: ntmtv!adrian@ames.arc.nasa.gov
