We just purchased a few Visual X-19 X-terminals for a course, and I'm using one of them in the meantime. I'm sure that the server firmware is pre-R4. However, I would like to run R4 on our host. Should I expect any problems, or are things compatible enough that it doesn't matter? I have sucessfully compiled R4 sources on an Encore Multimax (on the first try - not even close with R3) and have run most of the R4 clients without problem, with the notable exception of xeyes, which dumped on a floating-point exception. Any help? Thanx... ============================================================================ Brian O'Neill - Local Internet Access Account Internet: oneill@bu-pub.bu.edu UUCP : ...!bu.edu!bu-pub!oneill
