A good moderator will mail back confirmations/rejections, and
hopefully some reasons for the rejections.  

If you think the moderator is doing a poor job you can discuss it
in the nearest unmoderated group (alt.sex.et.al) or here in news.groups.

"Censorship" is quite a bit too strong for what I've seen proposed.
