Instead, I will summarize: Chuq proposed a way to split comp.sys.mac. Pretty quick summary, eh? I don't have any problems with the proposal as it stands except for the fact that comp.sys.mac.programmer isn't mentioned at all. This isn't necessarily bad, since it could mean that Chuq's proposal wants to leave it alone. On the other hand, I've always thought that comp.sys.mac.hypercard belonged comp.sys.mac.programmer.hypercard. I know it's a long name, but it has an intuitive feel to it for me. I'm not ready to call HyperCard hackers computer scientists (and they probably aren't, either), but I don't think HC fits anywhere else. Ideas? Objections?
