I wish there was soc.culture.canadian and I hope someone will lead a
discussion and then collect votes.

Not a reason for a new group per se, but here's a list of soc.culture groups
already in place.  More are on the way, such as .german, .french, .iranian,
.pakistan, .vietnamese.
