But I can't figure it out... I got Mingqi Deng's AutoFTP script, compiled the three C pieces, adjusted the shell variables as needed, built an input file according to spec, etc. But when I run the thing, all I get is a file in the calling directory of the form "####msg" where "####" is some 4 digit number like 2930 in the example below. The file contains the following message: %%%%%%% Process File Request #1 %%%%%%% =======Start requesting file anywhere.arc ......... ***Ftp script file '2930ftp.script' does not exist. *******Fatal error: during an ftp attempt!******* I sent mail to Mingqi but got no answer. Can anyone suggest what might be going wrong and how to correct it? Much thanks, Alan Holbrook No .sig, I just post on impulse.
