Each board has a serial and parallel port on, each of which can be configured for 1 or 2. IE: com1: or com2: Unfortunately this means that one boards' IO capability is being wasted. Does anyone know how to modify a board to allow the comm port to respond to a different interrupt and base address ? port irq addr com1: 4 0x3f8 com2: 3 0x2f8 com3: 2 0x3e8 Basically, I want a com3: on the currently unused board. Hopefully this would only require some minor surgury, cutting and pasting a couple of traces. Hopefully. Can anyone help ? -- Dean Carpenter ...{bigtex|texbell}!rpp386!bunyip!deano (preferred) ...cs.utexas.edu:ibmchs!auschs!deano.austin.ibm.com!deano (sometimes sporadic)
