I've just finished applying the 1.5.3 upgrade to my 1.5.0 sources.  I
cheated ( :-) ) by doing the upgrade on my VAX; I haven't moved the
stuff over to MINIX to try compiling it yet.  Anyway, the list of
problems:

1) As previously reported, mined1.c has a different crc for 1.5.3,
   but mined1.c.cdif is empty except for the first two lines.

2) The patches for lib/posix are a mess! (At least what I've got is)
   posix.cdif contains a batch of diffs that patch reports to be
   reversed patches.  The crc's seem to match if posix.cdif is not
   applied!

3) More lib/posix trouble: fdopen.c.cdif, getgrent.c.cdif, and
   getpwent.c.cdif each caused patch to claim these were reversed
   patches.  The crc's seemed to match if these patches weren't
   applied.

I've had no trouble patching commands/ls.c or commands/more.c
on my VAX.
