We have a QMS-PS Postscript printer attached to a Sun workstation which we would like to make available to the Macs. We have successfully implemented CAP so that lwsrv appears as a LaserWriter to the Macs. However, it seems that the Macs cannot print to a normal Postscript printer; only a LaserWriter. Has anyone successfully used a non-Apple Postscript printer with a Mac? Is there some header file that I must prepend to the Mac output file before sending it to the printer? Any help would be appreciated. Please respond via E-mail... -- David Rubin | INTERNET: drubin@polyof.poly.edu Polytechnic Univeristy | BITNET: RUBIN@POLYGRAF Brooklyn, NY
