We are looking for a networkable fax modem to use on our
AppleTalk network.  I have looked at Abaton's product, but it
wants to be serially connected directly to a Mac.  Same for the
Orchid product.

Tech support at Abaton also said that the Shiva "Net Serial" was
incompatible with fax.  I tried to verify this with Shiva, but
got the usual "the rep for your area is out... would you like to
leave a voice-mail?"

I checked into "fax-gate" but it uses CE Quick-Mail or MS mail to
interface to the FAX - and we don't use either.

Ideas?
