Is FTP available anywhere? Message-ID: <17@gumby.dsd.TRW.COM> Date: 24 Feb 90 02:23:40 GMT Reply-To: jsb@gumby.dsd.trw.com (John Bien) Organization: TRW Defense Systems Group, Redondo Beach C.A. USA Lines: 28 I just got the CMU PC/IP package up and running on a 386i. One problem I'm having is when I try to set the boxes IP address (or default gateway address) via the command line rather than in the menu interface. I type the command: custom -a 129.193.72.245 netcust which give no errors. I then go into the menu version ("custom netcust") and see that the address has been changed to "129.193.255.255". Do the command line options work for anyone else? Another question I had was whether there are any more programs out there compiled for the CMU PC/IP? Most notibly there is no FTP command with the distribution. Is there one available somewhere? P.S. How does CMU PC/IP compare with the KA9Q TCP/IP? Are the any other PD implementations for the PC?
