     I'm sure you can hack the CA-880 in if you wanted to but why?  It costs
about $130? for the drive?  Why break it down when you can buy a Chinon for
about $60 in Computer Shopper.  
      If you don't want 3 drives, sell the CA-880 for about $90-100 and buy
the Chinon.  You'll get a nice profit in the process.
 
(Well, not a profit really since you are still paying, but why let it cost
you an arm and leg when only an arm will suffice?)
