Don't know if this is going to get out of here but I'll give it a go anyway. Ken from Commodore writes that we should just let him know if there is anything that we really want on the amiga. How about memory protection (On 020 & 030) for memory that isn't declared as MEMF_PUBLIC. This would mean an end to trashing other programs code & libraries, as well as the system& user stack for tasks & processes. I saw mention somewhere in the past that mem protection wouldn't work because MEMF_PUBLIC is supposed to be just that public. I say that it doesn't matter if it is suppoed to be public. Just provide protection (ie BERR ) for memory not your own or PUBLIC & we'll be away. Surely somebody at CATS is able to do this for machines with an MMU. PS.
