I bought the Master 3-A drive for my 500.  I have had no problems out of it
compatability-wise or performance-wise.  I have been happy with my purchase.
It was $169.00 from my local dealer.  However,  you can get it mail order for
about $123 from Computability.   I bought it from my dealer from support 
reasons,  but Computability seems to be pretty reputable.  In any case 2 drives
is a must for any real use from the Amiga.
