I have one sitting around that doesn't quite work right and was wondering if anyone knew what might be wrong with it and/or how i could go about fixing it. the only problem with the modem is it won't pickup the phone to answer or originate. The dialing tones do come out the speaker and it will detect a ring. It will talk to any term program I care to load. I have it in slot 2 in a ROM 01 GS with 1.25 meg, Sonic Blaster in slot 1, SCSI card in slot 7. The control panel is set to 'your card' when trying to use the internal modem, but is currently set to modem port so as to use the 1200B modem hooked up to it. is this worth trying to fix or am i sitting here trying to bring the dead back to life? Any and all advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!! 96975089@wsuvm1.bitnet
