I've noticed provincial trend on comp.sys.apple concerning an aversion to
anyone posting anything to do with anything other than Apple //.  Certainly,
this board's primary purpose is to discuss the // series; nevertheless,
should someone try to sell a Mac over here, a few folks completely lose their
sanity.  Try to sell a Mac over on comp.sys.ibm.pc, and folks don't seem so
insecure...they'll discuss the computer's value but won't flood the Usenet
with flamy bandwidth.  I certainly do agree that the name should be changed
to comp.sys.apple2...  However, I would hope that at that point folks will
become less offended at postings here asking for expertise:  I've found
most Apple // aficionados to be much more informed about ANYTHING Apple
(including Mac) than some Mac counterparts.  Let's relax a bit.
