PC Speed software installed on drive C: (TOS HDX boot) 2. PC_INST.PRG used to assign DOS C: = TOS D: DOS D: = TOS C: 3. run PC Speed and boot DOS 3.2 from A: 4. format C:/s (this put IO.SYS,MSDOS.SYS and COMMAND.COM on my TOS D: partition which PC Speed was told was my DOS C: partition (from step 2) 5. exit back to GEM and re-run PC_INST.PRG to set boot from HD. 6. re-run PC Speed and ZIP, the system just hangs. What did I do wrong? I am still getting stack overflow messages if I switch menus in dBASE III Plus too fast (takes more effort than before I resoldered my board socket but it still happens). Any PC Speed specialists on the NET to address my problems?
