I would like to write a program that scans my hard disk and maps out bad
sectors (even slightly bad).  Does anyone know how to a) detect a sense code
from the ICD controller or b) make it so that a write/read error doesn't
pop the dialog box onto the screen?  Will it pop if I am using rwabs?
How about read/write()?

Is there already a PD program that does this?  Thanks.
