I have 2 RD53's in my Microvax II at home. The second one must be set as drive 4. (The RX50's are 1 and 2 and the first RD is 3. If your drive has selects 0-3, then set it to 3) As you have guessed, it plugs into the other set of fixed disk connectors. No front panel is necessary for the second drive. If you want one, you would need to add a 2nd distribution panel and use an RQDXE. I put my TK50 in an external hard disk case for expanding a PC, and just extended its cable and used a 25-pin D connector (skipping line 1 in the ribbon cable) to allow disconenction. /mike \|/ Michael L.
