Bill, It's called 'RX50.ZIP' on my board, file requestable of course. It allows IBM PC/AT 1.2Mb machines to read/write DEC RX50 MS-DOS Rainbow media, but will not format the RX50 floppy disk. Installs as a device driver in CONFIG.SYS and your 1.2Mb floppy can be accessed as the last virtual drive on the system if it's the last disk driver in CONFIG.SYS. -George, 102/138- --- msged 1.999 * Origin: Western Region VAX EC, RAINBOW/PDP-11 Echo Hub (1:102/138.1) ------------------------------ Date: 02-23-90 To: ALL Subject: LATEST DECBBS.LST From: GEORGE DAHLCO, SYSOP 102/ DECBBS.LST Revision 4.6 - 68 nodes total February 23, 1990 National list of DEC-related BBS Systems. However, the term refers to all three versions: LA120DA, LA120-RA, and LA120-RB. The main thing is to make sure that it has an RS232 interface, because there were some options that are not compatible with the Rainbow. This can be determined by inspecting the connectors on the back of the printer. --- * Origin: Silver Bullet - Silver Spring, Md. - 301-622-2247 (Opus 1:109/123) ------------------------------ Date: 02-23-90 (09:40) To: BILL HLIWA Subject: RX50'S ON IBM'S From: MARK BORNSTEIN In a message of <21 Feb 90 16:19:24>, Bill Hliwa (1:260/10) writes: >What's the name of the program (and who's got it) that allows RX50's to >be used in IBM 1.2M drives?
