The scenario is as follows: we have an HP 9000/825 running HP/UX
Release A.B3.10.2A and one part of our organization is considering the
acquisition of an HP 9000/300 workstation, also to run HP/UX.  We have
been told that the two machines are essentially the same and that the
OS is also essentially the same.  Presumably, the worst case is that we
will have to recompile our applications and generate new executables.

Does anyone have experience with both of these machine which would support
or refute these claims?
