It is for communications between PCs and IBM mainframes, though other types of machines work as well. It supports Tektronics graphics, and is generally a very reliable emulator. Cost is minimal, at Queen's it costs CDN $9. In order to use its file transfer capabilities, the mainframe must be running similar software - it does NOT support Kermit or any other type of transfer, just its own. ------- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- | Arnold Gill | | | Queen's University at Kingston | | | BITNET : gilla@qucdn | | | X-400 : Arnold.Gill@QueensU.CA | | | INTERNET : gilla@qucdn.queensu.ca | | -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
