I am willing to collect info. on the subject and post a summary. So, if you could mail me the following information about your systems: - Brand name (Dell, Packard Bell, etc.) - System board brand, if known (AMI, Micronics, etc.) - CPU type, speed, and amount of RAM installed - Chip set manufacturer (C&T NEAT, Intel, etc.) - Does the chip set support EMS in hardware? 3.2? 4.0? - Does it support shadow RAM? In what size blocks? - How is the RAM from 640K to 1024K handled? I will post a summary when I've accumulated a reasonable amount of info. - David Hinds dhinds@portia.stanford.edu
