Specifically, the MAC (Motorola) CPU stores data in a high byte-low byte format, where the Intel processors store data in a low byte-high byte format. The TIFF Developer's Toolkit ($20.00 from Aldus Corp. - (206) 622-5500) has good info that may help you resolve this problem. In addition, they have the C source for several useful routines including a byte-swapping routine. I have no connection with Aldus Corp. whatsoever. ====================================================================== Mark R.
