I get the initial graphics title screen, the hard disk spins for a while, and then the machine hangs. The people at Austin suggested that it might be a hard disk formatting problem, and that I should reformat my drive and try again. This did not help. They suggested that my configuration for the built-in autoswitching EGA was wrong. I configured the EGA the way they suggested, but still no luck. The Austin people said they had no problems running Windows 286 on a 286/12.5. Has anyone else run into this problem with an Austin 286/12.5 EGA machine? Please email me with any helpful insights... Thank you! Ben Moroze (moroze-ben@cs.yale.edu)
