We may go with PageMaker for > the next manual, or even FullWrite. I hate RSG. I'm not sure you'll find PageMaker faster. When I became editor of our user group newsletter a year and a half ago, I used PageMaker for it for a few months. It was unbearable, both speed and the way it works, jiggling things around by hand. I switched to RSG and have been much happier in both regards. It may partially be a matter of personal preferences. If I'd had the kinds of problems with bugs and impertinent technical support that others have related here, I might be much less happy with it. I've only seen one serious bug: graphs pasted in from KaleidaGraph weren't cropped properly. I called Letraset, they explained they were aware there was sometimes such a problem with old LaserWriters (which I was using), they apologized and said they were working on a fix. I don't know if they've fixed it, since we upgraded to a LaserWriter Plus and the problem went away. The newsletter has never exceeded 32 pages. Maybe RSG's buggier with larger files. Gary Davis
