Were this their plan, why would they spend all the money they have on
developing Apple IIgs' system 5.0 and APW?  This couldn't be a new decision,
were it true.

Of course, I would like nothing more than a cheap color Mac with Apple II
emulation, but it sounds a lot like an Apple IIgs to me. :-)
