I am resigned to a 35 lb. "portable" that takes 3 mins to set up. I even like SOME of the mice commands (I had mice on both my IBM's). But I just started using Wingz ... gimmee a break! Why did Wingz invent SIMPs (or whatever their column width measurement is?)? I'm sure that it is SIMPS (SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE MEASURING PROTOCOL), BUT WHY? Ain't 72 points to the inch enough? And why do so many programs ignore the fact that many users don't want to adjust every item on a page "by eye?" I can think of several programs that cater to my needs to create a repeatable pattern of elements on the page without jiggery-pokery... why not Wingz? Or have I MISSED SOMETHING IMPORTANT? Is there a protocol for setting column width in Wingz directly, i.e. set columns b...m to 1.25 inches? Thanks for any help.
