They make a smalltalk programming environment called Objectworks. I've never actually used, but I looked at it briefly. It's huge. Not a casual thing to learn. It requires 4MB of RAM and 10 MB of free space on your hard drive. Check em out. Here at U of Illinois we can sign away our first born child and copy the disks and buy copies of the manuals for $50. I don't know how they worked that out.
