I've got a external disk case and power supply laying around doing
nothing (the corpse of a disk that gave up the ghost a few months
ago), with an adaptec controller card.

What I'm wondering is whether there is a source from which the 
Syquest drive mechanism can be obtained on the cheap.  I've got
a Micronet removable drive, and it would sure be handy not to
have to lug it back and forth from the office.

Is the Syquest mechanism an embedded SCSI?
