Lines: 19 We have an apple laserwriter which won't initialize when the appletalk connector is plugged into it. If the connector is unplugged from the port, the test page comes out. Then the connector can be plugged back in and everything works fine. It's an original laserwriter, which uses the db-9 connectors. We have two of them, so I have swapped their appletalk connectors (farralon phonenet), but nothing changes. The same laserwriter still will not initialize with the connector plugged in, the other one will initialize using either connector. Has anyone seen similar behavior? Any suggestions? On a related note, what software is available for network management, ie, to determine which nodes are up, traffic count, etc. I'll summarize if there's sufficient interest. Thanks, -Fred
