Thanks to the people who replied (by email) to our recent 
posting regarding Midi. They all agreed that the thing to 
do was to buy Midi Manager. So we did. Now the question is 
how to use it. Honest, we have RTFM but are little the wiser. 
Is it just us, or is it really an exceptional example of 
how to make something simple sound difficult?

In particular, we want our program to set up its own 
connections - not to use Patch Bay. We gather that we do this 
with MIDIConnectData and MIDIConnectTime, but where do we get 
the appropriatate (OSType) parameters to pass to those 
procedures?

Any help gratefully received.
