I recently connected a CD player to the amp with "Y" adapters. I was surprised to find that the signal from the CD player was amplified and played from the monitor's speaker. The volume keys also worked. I am assuming that the line out jacks just come from the input to the monitor's internal power amp. - Carl F. Sutter sutter@ozone.usc.edu (NeXT mail) (213) 743-3826
