I have a simple question. To run LaTeX or TeX do
the user need to have read permissions on the style,
font, etc . files. Even though I specify the paths
through the environment variables, TeX is unable to
locate the files (they are indeed in default dir).
Only way it can find it is when I have those files
in current directory. The only thing that I could 
find was that I do not have the read permission on
those default directries where TeX keeps all the
font, style files....
