Last time I talked to the guys at Stardent (last week), they had purchased an Iris and had a version of AVS running (albeit "like a pig") on it. I have no details about which Iris it is but they were working on making run faster. I think they ported Dore to the Iris which was relatively easy, and then ported AVS on top of Dore. So you have AVS --> Dore --> GL. Not to mention X Windows.
