Keywords: Miscellaneous Message-ID: <5278@brazos.Rice.edu> Date: 23 Feb 90 10:26:01 GMT Sender: news@rice.edu Organization: Sun-Spots Lines: 14 Approved: Sun-Spots@rice.edu X-Sun-Spots-Digest: Volume 9, Issue 59, message 7 I note that the Sun /etc/rc invokes swapon -a *after* /etc/rc.local has been called. I presume that this means processes started up during rc.local do not get the benefit of multiple spindles. (A) Am I correct in my assumption? (B) Can you think of any problems that might be caused by moving the swapon command before rc.local is called? As usual, mail me and I will summarise if I get any info.
